Yogya - East Java Trekking
YOGYAKARTA – EAST JAVA TREKKING TOUR [7 DAYS/6 NIGHTS]
DAY 01 : TRANSFER IN – YOGYAKARTA AIRPORT.
Pick up service at Yogyakarta airport. Meeting and greeting with our tour guide. Transfer hotel and free program. Accommodation at Delta Home Stay or similar.
DAY 02 : YOGYAKARTA - BOROBUDUR SUNRISE TREKKING TOUR [B,L]
Get early in the morning [at 04.00 am] drive to Suroloyo hill [900 m] to catch sunrise in the top. Proceed trekking down for two hours by passing dry land and rice field, see flora anf fauna and arrive at Borobudur Temple [The greatest budha monument in the world], continued to Mendut Temple [Other small budha temple with three big budha statues] then visit Prambanan Temple [The greatest and most beautiful hindhus temple in Indonesia. Breakfast in box and lunch at local restaurant. Accommodation at Delta Home Stay or similar.
DAY 03 : YOGYAKARTA - MERAPI VOLCANO TREKKING TOUR [B,L]
After breakfast at hotel. Half day tour by visiting Sultan Palace [ Center of Javanese culture and place where king of Yogyakarta reside], proceed to Water Castle [Formerly pleasure garden for king I-III], continued see batik and silver home industry. Lunch served at local restaurant. In the evening [at 22.00 pm] depart from Yogyakarta to Selo Village [The last village is located in the north of Merapi volcano[2.911 m] and in the middle of the night start to trek up for 4 hours. Arrive in the top to see sunrise then trek down for 3,5 hours. After breakfast at Selo village drive back to Yogyakarta. Accommodation at Delta Home Stay or similar.
DAY 04 : YOGYAKARTA - SOLO – SUKUH TEMPLE TREKKING TOUR [B,L]
After breakfast and check out hotel, drive eastward of Yogyakarta to catch Solo. We are going to see Mangkunegaran Palace [Sultan palace with joglo style of traditional javanese architecture], proceed to see Triwindu Antique Market [Only authentic flea market in central java]. Continued to Sukuh Temple [Erotic temple was built in 15 century and located in the slope of mount Lawu]. From here start trekking for two hours to Tawangmangu water fall, then check in hotel at Tawangmangu area. Lunch served at local restaurant. Accommodation at Kamajaya-Kamaratih Hotel or similar.
DAY 05 : TAWANGMANGU - MOUNT BROMO [B,L]
After breakfast at hotel, drive to east Java to catch mount Bromo [2.392 m]. Arrive in the afternoon then check in hotel. Lunch served at local restaurant. Accommodation at Lava View Lodge or similar.
DAY 06 : MOUNT BROMO TREKKING TOUR– SEMPOL VILLAGE [B,L]
Get up early in the morning [at 03.00 am] drive by jeep [4 wheel drive] to catch mount Pananjakan [2.700 m] to see sunrise. Proceed to mount Bromo and walking cross sand sea to trek to Bromo crater. Return back to hotel for breakfast then drive to Sempol Village for check in hotel. Lunch served at local restaurant. Accommodation at Arabica Home Stay or similar.
DAY 07 : SEMPOL VILLAGE – PALTUDING POST – TRANSFER OUT [B,L]
Get up early in the morning [at 03.00 am] and check out hotel then drive at Paltuding Post [The last village is located in the slope Ijen Crater] and from here start trekking up for two hours to reach Ijen Crater [2.380 m]. see crater and local people mine sulphur traditionally. Drop at Ketapang harbour [ferry boat to Bali], or drop at Surabaya, Malang, Solo or back to Yogyakarta. Breakfast in box and lunch at local restaurant. End of service.
